"Mas Agus", begitu aku memanggilnya, Sore itu aku sengaja menyempatkan diri menghubungi beliau untuk sekedar bertemu dan sejenak bercakap. Saat ini dia bekerja di sebuah perusahaan di kawasan Pulo Gadung Jakarta Timur. Adalah badminton yang menjadikan dia mempu bertahan menjadi karyawan tetap, ditengah banyak karyawan PT yang "dirumahkan". Menyebut nama beliau, pikiranku langsung melayang ke masa dimana aku masih berlatih badminton semasa kecil. Sesosok atlet badminton masa itu seperti Ardi B Wiranata, Hariyanto Arbi, Joko Supriyanto serta lokasi latihan GOR Gelarsena sampe bis Putra Jaya Utama dan besi tua menghiasi ingatan. Gebyar olahraga tepok bulu waktu itu memang sangat menyebar dan mendalam. Hampir setiap malam ada pertandingan "bapak-bapak" di kampung. Lomba antar kampung dan lomba 17-an merupakan tontonan seru bagi warga. Mas Agus adalah tetangga di kampung, dan masih ada garis saudara. Yesss… I officially did it 😄 November 19, 2016 — finally got my first driving license, and yes… 100% without any “broker” ( calo ). The journey? Not as smooth as I thought. After going back and forth to the Satpas in Daan Mogot, hearing all kinds of stories like “it’s hard to pass without help” or “you’ll just keep failing,” I was honestly a bit doubtful. But still, I told myself: let’s try it the right way. InsyaAllah, bisa. There were three main tests: health check, written test, and the real challenge… the practical test. And yep—this is where things got interesting. First attempt: I passed all the driving maneuvers… felt pretty confident… until I realized—no helmet 😅 Instant fail. Second attempt: Helmet? Check. Procedure? Check. But… apparently too slow. Another fail. Third attempt: Okay, this is it. Full focus. Helmet on. Time managed better. And finally… PASSED. That moment? Pure relief.
